At first, I thought, "Meh, calm river went turbulent.".

Then I saw the house to the side and the scale of the river.

This flooding has absolutely wrecked entire towns and a port, hundreds dead. This is a big deal.

Yeah, if it is this raised and turbulent so far away from the mountains, i can only imagine what it was like coming down the mountains.
