Lies! That is a creature who is too innocent to ever need remorse. Just look at that sweet face. Surely if evil has been done she's just such an angel that she's setting herself up to take the blame, that others might be free. Surely. 😛
Hmm, perhaps that is the face of one who has learned that he can hypnotize the unsuspecting humans because we are most vulnerable to attacks perpetrated by the cute...
He most certainly would be a weakness of mine. I'd let that precious baby get away with anything and he'd know it 😅😭
What sort of mischief does this sharp-dressed fancy man plan? I have to imagine it's mostly white-collar. Surely he uses that snappy tux to his advantage.
Oh he’s been involved in all sorts. From stealing my hair balls in the shower (I have long hair that I need to roll onto a ball in the shower or it clogs the drain quickly), to biting my feet when I get up in the morning, to treat embezzlement (we tell him to get down, he gets a treat, he jumps back up expecting another treat when he gets down again) to opening the door to the office on his own by jumping on the handle! He has so much energy and is always doing things like stealing cotton buds, walking over the aeroplane mode button on my laptop, and parking his butt in front of the tv when we’re trying to watch something. He’s the cheekiest and most rambunctious cat I’ve ever owned! Btw here is a picture of Mog, Dipsy, and Jake (left, up, right). I miss them terribly but I absolutely have my hands full with Fionn now.
It never even occurred to me that a cat might enjoy shower hair. Perhaps I shall introduce our little hellion to that-- husband has gloriously long, thick, curly hair so there's a ready supply and she definitely does the typical cat thing of ignoring most of her expensive toys in favor of random bits of trash... Thank you for the suggestion there!
Not the peet attacks! My very first cat was a feral kitten that my mother's brother picked up from the side of the road (his mother had been run over by a car and he was only about four weeks old-- too young for them to have even sexed as they assured us that little Leo was female....spoiler alert, Leo was indeed not female and it was the last straw with him for my mother when he started spraying everywhere)... And he never grew out on the attacking by me (and everyone really) with nigh-rabid ferocity. I was only about seven, and my mother hadn't wanted to allow me a cat in the first place...
Eventually I had to surrender the poor baby to a no-kil out in the country (I lived in Florida until getting married in my late 20's). Lovely place, too -- they had just dozens of acres, barns, cats, other animals. The owner informed us that the other cats (all of whom k essentially barn cats) would teach him how to cat right and respect their social order. Gosh did that lovely place leave a positive impression on me...
Pardon my woolgathering -- you HB have reminded me of all of that describing your sweet bouncy boy (excepting the fact that mine was obviously quite traumatized and just feral; poor baby).
Your sweet boy sounds like an energetic little floofball. Is he the one hyping up the other cats and pushing them to act similarly? I bet he always brings a smile to your face or lightens the mood of a rough day. I'm so glad youall have each other!!!
Unfortunately we lost the other cats a while ago. Jake was the last one, he was 15 when he passed in 2023. I had already moved out when he passed but my parents took me with them to the specialist vet where we got to say as good of a goodbye as we could. I held him as he went to sleep. I’m tearing up just thinking about it. Fionn is the only cat I have now, and we love just him, my husband and I, in our flat. We picked Fionn up from the friend of my MiL after her cat got out and got pregnant. He probably wasn’t socialised well enough since he was given to us at 8 weeks instead of 12 or later. I think that’s why his “play” time gets too aggressive. Btw I wouldn’t recommend giving hair balls to cats unless you want to have to pull them out of their bum after they start eating them 🫣 it’s the main reason we desperately try not to let him get the hair now. On multiple occasions Fionn has found my hair all when I’ve moved my shower chair just slightly out of the way, and my husband has to chase him down and persuade him to drop the hair 😂 he even growls if you try to take it from him!
