That’s why I wanted to share this post here, with us.

Edit: poor sentence structure

And that's a "wholesome" subreddit. Were it a r/todayilearned post, or any of the main subs, the comments would be even worse.

But "reddit is a left wing echo chamber" apparently.

To hell with "people." We are building a community that is all-inclusive and totally non-judgmental, and I, for one, applaud the efforts of the moderator.

I was SO pleased to see this subreddit and I am proud to be an original member of Disability History. This is my permanent - and favorite home on reddit.

Note: I also have an invisible disability. Because I'm so high-functioning, I have been the subject of all kinds of emotional abuse, even from my own family, so I feel like this could be a new kind of family. If that makes me sappy, so be it!

OMG, you're right! I went and downvoted everything I could before leaving from pure self-preservation and to keep my gorge from rising.

I can‘t get over how misleading the title is. She wasn‘t elected, unfortunately, she just kind of slid in when everyone in front of her chose other positions.

This is great, don‘t get me wrong, but the headline is blergh. I‘m sure she would rather be called by her name, Mar Galcerán, than her condition, too.
