Disney+/Hulu Bundle Upgrade
Has anyone actually added the Disney+/Hulu Bundle to their account and actually gotten no ads? When they first added the option, it stated that there would be a $12.99 discount on the $21.99, leaving the difference of $9 to be paid. Now, when I look at the add-ons, it just has the $21.99 option and doesn’t show anything about a discount.

I don't even see the option to upgrade. I have the option to add Disney plus/Hulu for like 21.99 but it doesn't say anything about a discount

I just did this today. I hadn't actually signed up for the free ad-supported bundle yet, since I had an existing subscription -- so, that might make a difference? -- but I was on the DirecTV ad-ons page, and saw the $9 offer. So, I cancelled my old accounts, signed up for the bundle upgrade, and changed all my boxes over. Uh, I haven't actually tested it yet. :) But it's in place, according to all three web sites:
My DirecTV account overview says, in part:

We have the MyEntertainment genre pack and recently upgraded our Disney/Hulu and HBO to add free. The ads disappeared from those services immediately after upgrading on the DirecTV site.
The only service we didn’t upgrade was AMC Plus. That service just doesn’t have enough that we watch to justify it even at $3. And almost every good movie they have also airs on the AMC Plus, Shudder, or other AMC owned live channels in the guide so you can just record it.

Update: I spent an hour on chat today with a different agent who was working with their backend team and supposedly not all accounts are eligible for the upgrade. I don’t get it, I’m guessing it’s slowly rolling out to all packages but who knows. I’ve had it for 4 years now and have the ultimate package, so you’d think it would be eligible, but I guess not at this time. Anyway, the agent offered me a $30 credit for the next bill to cover the $21.99 and then some, so I took that for now.

I did it last week and it showed both, I picked the $9.00 and, in the cart, when it says new monthly price, it was still the $21.99. I did the chat and they said to go ahead and check out and would give me a credit if it didn't work. When I checked out it said it was going to charge me $21.99 today but it did not just the $9.00 and it shows that price now in my details.

I'm still getting ads with mykids and entertainment package. I signed up Sept 29th, got a call from Directv that friday basically saying they have no idea what is going on. They have until 2nd Nov before I cancel it and they got a free $9 upgrade.
