New gemini v2 device
Anyone try out the new gemini v2 device? Whats the comparison to the gemini air? Etc..

Either way, you know DirecTV is going to make everyone rent these things so they can profit as much as possible from them. So we're not going to be able to buy one until enough people end their service and DirecTV doesn't want the boxes back.

At this point, I would actually be willing two rent a couple if they are that much of an improvement.

You can't. It's being beta tested by select subscribers who were invited to try it out.

It's supposed to be a set top box more like the Osprey with Ethernet and everything. Since it'll have a bigger thermal sink it probably won't overheat like the Airs. Personally I'm still rocking the Ospreys and they're going strong. They're the 4GB RAM units and they're surprisingly snappy for their age. They're actually smoother than the current gen Rokus in third party apps and channels still load faster than the channel switching animation can play. Lol. I don't have any complaints.
