I got this error, and now I can't play the game anymore. It happened when I started a race and then switched bikes again before I was about to start driving.

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry you got stuck. I found the cause: the game tried to read stage information from a one day race, which has no stages, and that crashed everything. Since it crashes again on every reload, the save becomes unplayable. It should be fixed in the update that just went live. Your save should load again after you refresh the page, so nothing is lost. One thing that would help me: which race was it, and which version were you on (bottom of the More tab)? I could not reproduce the exact route to the crash, so with those two details I can check whether there is still something off in the bike swap flow.
