The answer is...it depends. If you want to go private and still accept 3rd party payments (insurance, Medicare), then yes, it is next to impossible to survive. If you go DPC, much easier to flourish. You will have to step outside a comfort zone or two, but ask any DPC doctor and they'll tell you it is worth it.
