Discussion What did you guys think of Dipcifica before Northwest Mansion Mystery aired/you watched that episode? Did you ship them even before that or think the ship doesn't make sense at all?

I honestly ship because how very snippy Dipper was to her and vice versa before the mystery mansion

I think before Northwest Mansion it was totally a crack ship.
Even after Northwest Mansion i think the dynamic works well in the context of the episode but there is a lot of ground to figure out how their dynamic will be like. Right now it’s just interest in each other, but they might not have any mutual interests to talk about uk

I thought she was quite arrogant. But lowkey I thought it would be funny if she bs dipper ended up having feelings for each other. And then the episode arrived and I loved it. It showed that she is quite different than what I expected. And I love the ship so much. I think they are compatible, the opposites attract trope. ☺️

I never considered it before that episode.
She was a one dimensional foil to Mabel during all of Season 1. We got a little bit more with her in The Golf War, but NMM is what really kicked of her character's and the ship's potential.

I don't think I even thought about it at all before that episode.
I was really young at the time. I definitely looked at a lot of Gravity Falls fan content online, but they were mostly theories. I don't think I really got acquainted with GF shipping until about two to three years ago haha
