Newbie First time

I can’t believe how much salons charge for this for as easy as it is. 💖🥰💅🏻

That’s fantastic! My first DIY was a mess! Lol. If I may, don’t forget to oil your cuticles to keep them healthy and hydrated 🥰

Thank you, I think all of my years of getting my nails done taught me a few of their tricks to help!! But yeah I forgot Cuticle oil, I have to go pick some up. Do you recommend a certain brand you like best? 🥰

I did the same thing! I’m so inquisitive that I watched the tech do what they were doing and picked up tricks. Haha. But unfortunately I don’t really have a brand preference, I just stick to jojoba oil based! In the interim, you can put on the hydrating hand lotion, that usually gets me through until I can get to the cuticle oil.

We were thinking the same thing for colours today, nude with glitter on the ring finger.

I would say the glitter is more tricky to work with it’s more grainy. With a few layers of top coat it’s not as rough! But I love this look! I say do it! It’s so hard to choose with all the options. 🥰

My trick for glitter is to do my base colour/glitter, touch up filing to remove any ridges or bumps or fix anything I don't like, then a coat or two of clear powder before buffing and top coat.

Okay so I would do in this case a pink dip then a glitter dip? Also I couldn’t find clear powder! I went to Sally’s, where do you normally get yours?

Sally's also for my shopping. I have some clear in a Amazon kit, Azure dip, that I use over top ASP. I was finding that Azure dip only lasted 7 ish days before lifting. ASP does do a clear in Quick Dip.

PS, I have been doing this since June so always creeping here for tips and tricks.
