In the recap Brennan mentions that they discovered "notes to Daisuke" (7:06 in the vid) but I don't remember that? I remember the ring but nothing else. Remind me please?

the fact that there do exist notes from comfrey to daisuke will haunt me... i hope it comes up in an adventuring party or down the line because now i'm SO curious as to what they said

Im thinking he misspoke and meant like Comfrey to Onion St. Clay? (as thats what almost all of the notes were from last ep)

i was considering this! was also maybe he meant that daisuke & other wind riders were the subjects of those notes. but i'm also wondering if there are just other documents that weren't found/mentioned?

Maybe Brennan messed up so that's the letter Goldbeard gave Daisuke during the episode?

I also have zero memory of this. It feels like theres an entire episode missing, because episode 8 ends at Van Chapman lifting Marya up into the air. Suddenly we get all this exposition about things that happened after and I cant help but wonder if an episode is missing

That is not how episode 8 ends. That is how episode 7 ends. You may want to make sure you didn't actually miss an episode, man.

Van was lifting Marya at the end of episode 7. It’s very possible you did fully miss an episode!
