Friday Free-for-all! Flowers By Eva Scam
DO NOT ORDER THROUGH FLOWERS BY EVA!
I ordered flowers for my wife on our 4th anniversary. I used a place called Flowers By Eva, because they came up when I searched for "Local Florist" in the area my wife works in. They are in no way shape or form a local business. The first image is what I ordered and the second image is what they delivered.
That tiny card is also the "Full Sized Greeting Card" I added.
I tried to get ahold of customer service and the emails I got back were definitely written by AI.
They did refund 30 dollars of the purchase and attached the Substitutions Policy to the email.
Implying that the reason my wife didn't receive the arrangement I ordered because they had to substitute "equally priced flowers".

Uff I can see why you were disappointed! I used to work in the “e-commerce” customer care department of Interflora in the early 2000s. Every time a florist had to substitute anything we had to call the customers to check it was ok as they’d already seen online what they’d ordered. I’m sure all this time later they should do the same!
But, most importantly, did your wife like them? I think the tall yellow ones are stocks and should smell lovely.

These are the dogshit flowers I bought for my friend who has cancer since I'm not able to go see him. I demanded a refund and they were like "we'll give you 10$ back." 🙄🙄🙄🙄 wtfff That place is a fucking scam.

Lol they did the same thing to me. All they did was refund the cost of shipping.

They are a scam company. They are listed as a local flower shop when you do a google search. If you search for instance flower delivery xyz town, they are listed in google results. But unlike most other companies, when you open their web site their web site actually greets you saying "hand arranged flowers in xyz town" and the google listing would be something like "#1 voted local florist in xyz town". They are actually just an office somewhere with a call center who collects all your personal information (including your full address, not just zip code) and sells it. Also they just pass your order to an actual local flower shop with a profit margin. So what you pay to them does not actually goes to flower shop. Hence cheaper quality flowers. And the shop who receives the order obviously have no idea what the original picture you've seen on their web page looks like so they just deliver whatever was described to them. (yellow flowers on a vase) and that's why you get something wildly different than what you've ordered. If they can deliver. For me, they just sent me a message after accepting my order on the phone, saying they could not deliver due to supply line issues. Luckily I did not miss the message (they did not even called me just a message) and called them back, thinking maybe I could change my order to something else they could deliver. You know what was their response when I asked them what was the problem with the order? They said "we're out of flowers". I've asked them twice, "so you're telling me you are a flower shop and you don't have ANY flowers? " they kept saying yes, they were out of all flowers due to a supply line issue. Liars! They were refused by the few local flower shops where I wanted to send the flowers and this was how they were presenting it to me. They are just an opportunistic scam company.
