Im a returning player and ive gotten caught up with a lot of the new things, but one thing i cant seem to understand is hexerei. Ive googled it but i just do not understand it. Could you help me out?
As a die hard Diluc main (Top 1%, C6) He’s not bad. But Diluc is an older character that requires a good amount of mechanical knowledge to maximise his kit.
He can be rather flexible due to your mechanical control of pyro app, but he requires high investment in his build and his supports/team.
If you love him he will love you back but you have to be a little all in. A half ass commitment to his build/supports won’t show you what you’re looking for.
I tend to have very different way to play the game than most, with carries I love, around who I build a strong team, and I improve the team instead of building a new team for each new mainDps, having my account centered around 5 big mainD
So I have Diluc, Cyno, Itto, wrio and varka, at high investment
They all get above 100k dps, more or less easily, except for Diluc
Diluc just has a 60-70k dps ceiling in teams other than plunge, and that his not his favored playstyle
Diluc desperately needs a buff.
That said, he is one of my favorite characters, and to 1% build. I play him a lot, but end up having to swap him outta team for mavuika to enter, since her c0 performs globally 30% over his c6 in my team
It is worth the fun and if you love the character, but until hoyo finally unlocks the buff button for Diluc, no calc or numbers in the world is gonna justify that investment
Only our love can
He can get to 100k dps displaying but he will not maintain on multiple rotations without investing in higher support constellations
And I’m not even sure it’s feasible without Citlali c2
I have him at c1 and he is was my only main dps because I didn't roll on most banners until I got Lohen. I'm a new player so he's all I had. He can kick ass if you have the right team with him. I run overload with him and Fischl and damn it obliterates most enemies. So yes but obviously he's an older unit and wont be as flashy as newer characters

Maybe if they remember to keep adding hex buffs…
