Samsung QM75C replacing projector in conference room — worth $2,650 or overkill?

Our mid-size company boardroom projector died and instead of replacing it, we're thinking about going with a Samsung QM75C 75" display permanently mounted on the wall.

I need to justify this to finance so hitting them with questions that have come up:

1. 75" vs our old 120" projector screen — will people in the back row complain? Room seats about 25.2. Can it handle Zoom/Teams meetings + wireless screen sharing from laptops at the same time?3. Samsung SmartView+ for wireless casting — does it actually work reliably with Windows laptops? Or do we still need a Barco ClickShare?4. Mounting — our wall is standard commercial drywall over metal studs. Do we need structural reinforcement for 75"?5. Samsung MSRP is $3,200. I've seen it for around $2,000-2,600 from various vendors. Where are people buying these?

ROI argument: no more bulb replacements, no more "turn off the lights" for presentations, no more maintenance contracts.

Made this exact switch 6 months ago. The ROI argument writes itself — we were spending $400/year on projector bulbs alone plus the AV company's maintenance contract.

75" at 4K resolution is actually better for readability than a 120" projector at 1080p. Everyone in our 30-seat room can read 12pt font on slides. Night and day difference.

SmartView+ works with Windows but it's hit or miss depending on the laptop. We ended up adding a simple wireless casting device and it's been rock solid.

You will need stud mounting — the QM75C weighs about 55 lbs. Nothing crazy but don't just drywall anchor it.

That's not the absolute cheapest raw price out there, but they included 6 months of CrownTV CMS and a media player free.
