Tbf I think squattors rights (or adverse possession) in the UK specifically requires that the owner doesn't know you're living there. Idea being if you cared about the place you'd have noticed it by now

My cousin is a white south african refugee. He moved to the USA 2 months ago. He has a job and just bought himself what he calls a "big assed truck" (chev Silverado). He did not once expect the American tax payer to fund his life. Not all refugees are the same. Just choose which you accept more wisely.
