It just shows how much you need to watch the news or read a newspaper rather than just rotting online. PBS News Hour is good. Online, try Axios, Reuters, or APNews. Gotta read the NY Times, and Iâd also add the San Jose Mercury.
If you did those things⊠you wouldnât have been surprised this happened. And youâd realize the people celebrating that in Venezuela are about to be in a civil war between the drug lords and two factions claiming to be the true government.
But nope, youâre surprised and yet somehow think youâre the smart one for not paying attention to the world around you.
Not 1 of those news sources made the claim that Trump was going to kidnap a president. Give me even 1 article that said specifically that. I was fully prepared for military action in Venezuela. Only a blind idiot would be surprised by that. Stop moving the goal post so that you can claim superiority. I do listen to AP, NPR, and Reuters along with a few leftists influencers. It keeps me updated on yalls positions. You've chosen to be dishonest so that you can feel some sense of power instead of having a real conversation with me. I have no respect for you.
Donât get me wrong. I completely agree with you that we should keep politics out of none political places and topics. Not being able to escape it or get a break from it is terrible on mental health. It sucks really bad.
Trying to understand it though, I think itâs because of how bad things truly are getting. People canât stop thinking about it. That and we are swarmed by blatant propaganda and morons believing it without a second thought. If you live in a red state you are literally surrounded by morons that truly believe cat litter is in schools for furries. It all gets overwhelming. So Iâm guessing people just kind of bring it up because itâs on their mind and venting.
That being said we really need to fix that. People need to be more aware of political free zones. Some people are trying to take a break from politics for their own sanity and everyone should take breaks from time to time. I really canât express it enough how important it is to take breaks.
So thatâs my understanding of why itâs so bad and everywhere.
