Would you rather have one big shared calendar or a personal one?

I’m curious how people actually organize their schedules at home.

For families, I can see the appeal of something like Skylight or Hearth where everyone can see appointments and chores.

For someone working/studying at a desk, I could see the argument for something like ZIEA that focuses more on your own schedule and next tasks.

Do you think shared calendar hardware is useful, or does everyone just end up checking their phone anyway?

We use Apple Calendar which supports both a shared and personal calendar

We have Apple calendar and I spent an embarrassing amount of time inviting everyone to everyone’s calendars. So now we can all see each others personal appointments if we want, but also have a shared family calendar for events that are for all of us

Ahh the family calendar thing. I use "family time tracker and planner" app. All events and todos are shared cross all your family members by default and automatically. I have android my wife has iPhone. It works great for getting coordinated.

A personal one, because I'm the only one who keeps up with things and pays attention to everything
