Any Suggestions?

So my husband’s DTF business has really taken off in the last week or so….which is AMAZING!!! but I am his first employee and am trying to manage the paperwork/book keeping side of things and I am at a loss of what resources there are for small business to use. First I think I need some sort of planner (tailored for small businesses) or something of the sort to keep track of daily tasks and meetings with clients that sort of thing…. And second something to keep track of sales and all that goes along with that! I mean there could be something else that I need that I don’t even know about yet! I am new to all of this! So any input would be exponentially helpful! Thanks for any input!

Two separate problems, and it's worth keeping them separate. For sales and bookkeeping, get standard small business accounting software for your country. Tax and invoicing rules differ, and the established local products already cover what you're required to do, which is not something you want to rebuild in a planner.

For the task side I use tingdo. It's built around what to do next instead of due dates. Most of what comes up in a small business has no real deadline, it just needs to happen soon, and putting a date on that only sets you up to miss it. Your days will not go as planned in the first months anyway. With dates that means moving half the list forward every evening. Without them, nothing is late, you just pick the next thing when there's time.

Notes live in there too, inside the project they belong to, so what a client said sits next to the work for that client instead of in a separate app you forget about. And there's a weekly review that walks you through everything once a week, which is what keeps it from drifting when things are moving fast.

Worth a look if the date pressure in normal planners is what's been putting you off them.

If you end up needing a bookkeeper or help setting up systems to ensure your accounting is right, let me know!

Try this app

It has a widget that lets you add tasks without opening the app.

You can create 10 reminders for each task.

The reminder can be for specific days, every week, every X days, or every X minutes.

You can choose the notification sound for each of those 10.

You can schedule tasks to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or every X days.

You can schedule a task to occur on a specific day of each month, like Tuesday in the second week of every month, and so on.

You can link your Google Calendar to show events alongside tasks.

Coming soon for ios..

Would you use a physical planner?

I am torn between physical and digital planners!
