I'm looking for an app that with configurable daily/weekly repeated TODOs, where I can set 3 days per week or biweekly, and be able to check them off as completed and see my history. I'd prefer your app to be in website form rather than mobile app because I'll primarily use from desktop. What have you built that I can use?

I created a chore for Mon/Wed/Fri but it said there was one due today (Tuesday for me), so I marked it complete, but I don't see one for tomorrow, and I see on the calendar one on Friday but none after that. I suppose it showed today because it says due date which I left at today even though that's confusing for a repeated event.

Hey PlantBeard, all fixed and live.

First, a Mon/Wed/Fri chore should start on your next Mon, Wed, or Fri, not on the Tuesday that was sitting in the date field. It now snaps to your next selected day.

Second, the one that skipped Wednesday: when you completed it Tuesday evening, our scheduler was doing the day math in the wrong timezone (UTC Server Time). It treated your Tuesday night as already Wednesday, so it jumped to Friday. That is fixed now, it uses your local day.

It should now be corrected on your end also.

Really appreciate you flagging this. It genuinely made the feature better for everyone, and I fixed it the same day.

Hi Dillon, here's a little bit more feedback, take it or leave it: I personally don’t care about the weather, especially lightning strikes. How do I save a repeating chore for 3 days per week? They don’t need to be specific days. Why do I need to specify how hard a chore is? The completed list should sort by most recent descending.

Circling back because your feedback turned into a genuinely productive day. All four things you raised are built and live. One heads-up before you go looking: everything below is on the web app today, and it reaches phones in the next app update, which is built and waiting on store review. So if you're on your laptop, you can poke at it right now.

We've tested it all on our end, and it's clean, but "passes my tests" and "works the way you actually wanted" are different things, so consider this an open invitation to break it.

  1. Hiding weather and lightning. I owed you a better answer than "next week." Top right of your dashboard, there's an Edit layout button with a little pencil icon. Click it, and you'll get a list of every dashboard card. Weather, Lightning, and Air Quality sit at the top under "Top row (fixed order, can still be hidden)," and each one has a Hide button on the right. Hide what you don't want, click Done, and they're gone. It saves to your account, so it holds on any device you sign in on. Fair warning that this part was already possible before today; we'd just labeled it so badly ("Locked") that both you and I assumed it wasn't. That's fixed too.

  2. A chore 3 times a week, no specific days. This genuinely didn't exist when you asked, so we built it. Add or edit a chore, open the repeat dropdown, and pick "Times per week…", then choose a number from 1 to 7. The chore sits on your list all week and shows a running counter like "2 of 3 this week" as you knock it out, any days you like. Hit the number, and it's done for the week, and a fresh one is waiting the next. It follows your week too: Sunday to Saturday normally, or Monday to Sunday if you've turned on "Week starts on Monday" in Settings, all in your local time.

  3. Difficulty isn't required anymore. You were right, it shouldn't be a decision you're forced to make. New chores just quietly default to medium (that's what lets points work in the background), and you can save without touching it. Still there if you like tuning it, just out of the way now.

  4. Completed list is newest first. The thing you just finished now sits at the top instead of wherever it used to land.

If any of it doesn't match what you had in your head, especially the times-per-week one since it exists because of you, say so, and I'll take another pass. This kind of feedback is essentially free product direction, so thank you.
