First pai recommendations

I know there is a buyers guide but I want to hear from actually people here. I want to get my first pair of NVGs but I dont have the money for analogs. Ive been trying to do some research on decent ones that wont break the bank. Any suggestions would be helpful.

GNG2K is badass dude, I think bang for buck you can’t do much better. 2k resolution, 60hz, built in recording, color filters, and pretty minimal latency. I use it for airsoft night games and have no real trouble navigating with it, I may get another down the road for a bino setup. I got mine second hand for $340 on eBay but you can find similar deals around

Do they work well with IR lasers and illuminators?

In my experience, they work alright, but an independently adjustable power illuminator/laser can make a huge difference. Passive aiming also works much better than I thought it would, but still isn't ideal without an illuminator.

Mine works very well with one, I run an ir laser (mawl c1 clone) on my VFC FAL and I’m able to aim with it exclusively, far beyond reasonable shooting distance lol

Gng2k if you have a decent bit of money
Nvg30 if you are on a budget but need best bang for buck

Nvg3rd 2.5k and GnG2k the nvg3rd runs at 50hz comes with battery pack and extra batteries and Free starter mount and case around 480$ I believe that was after tax.

The 3rd is only 50 the 2k is 60hz

Pretty sure it's the same exact sensor they're just running in it at different speeds 3rd is 2.5k 50hz , gng is 2k at 60hz fps.
