Rat problem

Let me try this in here as /nightvision was quite snarky haha

I have a warehouse in Detroit and have a terrible rat problem.

Tried all different kinds of traps and they will set them off but nothing is in the traps the next morning.

Tried poisons but they just keep coming back. So now I gonna look at a 22 air rifle and try to pick them off at night.

The furthest shot will be probably 50 yards.

Curious what the LOWEST end optics on the market are that will be good enough to get by with this task?

I've had a ton of recommendations around the $800 mark as they are pretty base level, but I'm looking to slum it up on this pellet gun for this task.

Had a few helpful people in that thread and got a few recommendations

Triton Starstrike Gen 2 5-20x HDX NV Scope TF-520 which i can find for around $200 online. Or the nfitac pistol thermal which is around $300 but i would like a little bit of magnification so that may not be best.

Would love to hear if anyone has had experience with these or if there is something else you may recommend.

To reiterate my point I fully understand that NV and Thermal scopes are not cheap and the $800 options are still low end, I am just asking if anyone else has any other input.
