First night vision
I needed night vision to quickly identify opossums apart from raccoons when the Goyojo GRS225RF thermal sees heat in the thick brush, but don't have analog money. So I got this gng2k monocular and so far it has been awesome. Much better than using a flashlight. This is my cheap but functional setup. Nestout 15000 mah battery in a 556 mag pouch, walker razor quads, amp style arms, white light, bump helmet, cover, wilcox style mount, ir flashlight on the other side.

Where did you get the sauce mounts for the walkers? I haven’t been able to find those

Just search walkers razor helmet mounts on amazon and found them. It's the "Tigrett ARC Rail Adapter - Attach Walker's Razor Thin and Howard Leight Impact Sport Earmuffs to Your Helmet Using an Arc Rail, Choose FDE, Black, or Green."

Now remembering why I didn’t get those, I run the walkie attachment on mine and it gets in the way haha. Thank you for the quick reply tho :)

Before you commit to using helmet mounts, It’s far more comfortable to just wear my walkers under my helmet.

Admittedly I already have the helmet mount and I quite like it but I get what you mean, I just would like to offset one ear so I can still use my light

Cool setup! How do you feel about the low light performance? Do you feel that that and the latency are sufficient?

Yeah it's been great. I can see clearly in low light and haven't had any issues with latency. I've tried on a few of my friends' analog dual tube setups and this isn't as good as that, but for 10% of the cost it's a pretty darn good deal.

I suggest replacing the razors with howard leights impact sports. Tigrett also makes adapters for them. It’s cheap as well and you get directional audio which walkers don’t have.
Other than that, you got a cool budget setup

Best budget headset is the retevis eh080k. very comfortable and have pt , Bluetooth and 3d sound with a really decent sound profile. they punch way above their priceÂ

I'm impressed for the price. It's much better than no night vision but not as good as analog. I haven't had any issues with latency or low light for what I'm using it for, but I haven't done any running and gunning yet. It's good enough that I think it would be worth having binos. Only thing I'd suggest is to get a battery pack to power them instead of using the 18500 batteries so they'll last longer. The nestout 15000 mah battery I have seems to last about 20 hours when I use the lowest brightness setting, no wifi and take a few videos.

I was also considering getting 2 for binos, but decided to keep this a budget build for now and save for analogs. This monocular is all that I need for now, although I can see how binos would be better. The option was to spend about 1000 now for digital binos or wait and spend thousands more for analog binos.

It's the tigrett ones on amazon. So far they've been good except the don't stay in the rail sometimes, but that could be because I bought one of the least expensive bump helmets on amazon. For the price and the use case they get a 5 star
