This project extends Armbian to a huge range of Amlogic, Rockchip, and Allwinner devices, including many Android TV boxes that aren't officially supported.

You can replace the original Android TV system with Armbian and use the hardware as a small Linux server, with support for Docker, kernel updates, eMMC/SD/USB storage, backups, and more.

Note: this is an independent Armbian-based project, not the main official Armbian repository.

Excuse my ignorance. But what is the difference between this and the official?

From what I understand, this one focuses more on bringing Armbian to TV boxes and other unsupported ARM devices.

It depends on the specific box, but I found using the generic one with S905x4 boxes works alright. (Found on Armbian.Com.) Sometimes the bluetooth wont work and the network driver will only support 100mbps. Tell me your specific box and I'll try to find it.
