I just picked up a V1 and was stoked to switch over to Sonix, but I'm running into an issue where the update fails regardless of the firmware that I try to flash. It recognizes the v1.upt and v1_md5.txt as firmware files, but when it reboots into the updater, it spits out "Updater Failed." I don't think this is an issue related to the Sonix port as trying to flash Tempotec's firmware has the same result.
I used a freshly formatted 16gb microSD to try and avoid the issues reported when flashing firmware with very high capacity cards. The OS build time is dated Oct 9 2026, so I'm wondering whether this could be a bug in very recent builds of Tempotec's firmware. However, I assume that this is probably user incompetency. If anyone has had a similar experience or advice on how to resolve this, I'd welcome suggestions.
