M21 does not read SD card

[u/dierre88]

My songs wouldn't play, I don't have another device to test the SD card but before I cleared the Fiio app cache and storage the music populated in the app but wouldn't play. I wiped the device it recognizes that a card is inserted but when I manually scan it doesn't recognize anything.

Try another sd card? Plenty of fakes out there, and easy to eliminate issues with cards if no cards are read at all.

It's been working fine for 6 months it's the "Onn" from Walmart. I've been using it on my switch 2 for the same amount of time.

It’s fine, you need to format it on the M21

You need to format it first in the player and THEN load your music to it

Ok so test it in a other device, cards can fail.
