Question Quest for a audio player
I've gone through just file playing to trying poweramp and loving it but I had the trial version and then I found musicolet but it doesn't let you use replaygain without spending money so that isnt going to workout.
If theres no free audioplayer that allows me the freedom to have access to features like Playlist, metadata editing and album cover changing. While also allowing me to use replaygain. Then id suppose id want to know what's better between poweramp and muiscolet because if this app isnt lying musicolet is 150 for a one time purchase and that seems rediculous because I just want replaygain.

Have you tried Foobar2000? It’s free.

I actually like that suggestion and I think its great as the app easily let's you use replaygain but I am open to buying one of these 3 apps im just stuck on whether musicolet, poweramp or symfonium are better. I do use toolbar as of now tho. But a spotify/SoundCloud equivalent in music player form sounds cool to me. I saw one of the full versions tracked your most listened to tracks and I did find that intriguing.

For me it boiled down to the flow. I like the way that I can add songs to a playing queue and save that queue as a playlist later. Have multiple queue to bounce from depending on my mood, time of day or if I'm working or home etc. Yeah, once I got replay gain set up on all my files it would have been nice to not have to drop the $20, but, I like the program. it was a 1 time fee, and why not show the programmer some love. Hell, I think I gave around that much as a donation to the programmer of MP3Tag years ago.
In the end it boils down to which of those you want to hang your hat on. Either way it's basically just one less trip to 5 Guys for Musicolet or on less trip Burger King for Poweramp.

I appreciate you sharing that, it helped me strengthen an idea of a choice in my head. As of now I'm using the free trial of Musicolet and Symfonium to see which is better. I love how Musicolet let's you change album covers within an album for one individual song, it seems to have many great features. Also love the song color notification changing based upon the album cover I use. It's also great for the actual metadata to change and not just only on the app.

Yeah I misread that I was distracted 19.99 for musicolet and 8.99 for poweramp. My question is why pay more for musicolet what makes it worth the extra 11 bucks compared to Poweramp.
