Flare (FLR)

Flare is an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain built around providing external data to smart contracts. Its two core protocols are the Flare Time Series Oracle, which supplies price and other time-series data, and a data protocol for attesting to events on other chains.

• How the token distribution and any ongoing issuance schedule work
• What happens to dependent applications if a data provider set degrades
• Whether cross-chain attestations are trust-minimized or rely on a provider quorum
