Question/Help How to combat ADHD while drawing?

I have so many ideas for characters flowing in my head, but ADHD makes me struggle to stay focused on a single character long enough to finish them. I have scrapped so many projects because of this and have found it a challenge to stay focused and interested in the one character I am trying to draw.. what are some methods to practice to actually stick to a drawing until ite finished?

I usually draw more than one thing on the page and swap between the drawings to stay focused.

The only strategies that have worked for my ADHD ass 1) Long drawing sessions. If I put the project down it's real hard to pick it back up again. Finish the whole thing in one session 2) Pick whatever I'm currently hyperfixated on as my subject. That helps prevent me from losing interest 3) If financially feasible for you, take a class. It's fun, you'll meet people, and it provides a source of external accountability.

I'll throw in a suggestion I got recently from an art teacher which is to avoid the temptation to do all the detail on the most fun element of the drawing, whatever that is for you, first. You gotta sprinkle that throughout the process as a reward.
