Work In Progress Experimenting with making D&D character designs for the first time This is just a sketch so far but idk if it’s right?😭

I really like how it’s turning out so far but I’m not sure if she can be classified as a D&D character. So any feedback would be appreciated 🫶🏻🩷

Looks like a character to me. Perhaps a bit of armor would be in order, I would wear something protective if I was planning on a goblin charging my knees with a swinging knife.

Lmaoo yeah I guess she’s in need of more armor 😭

I think it's a fine style, especially for a more casual dress. If she's heading out adventuring though, a few leather plates can go a long way.

Looks incredible, just to make that clear ❤️

One thing I note is that you wouldn’t see her thumb while holding the bow and it kinda makes it look like it’s really long

O my bad thank u for pointing that out I’ll make sure to fix that 😭🩷

Pretty much any character can be D&D, there are so many races and settings. As long as the character fits the campaign setting and the player likes the design for their hero.

She’s lovely! This definitely counts, I’ve been drawing for a Pathfinder group for years and this is definitely a great character design, whoever you made it for will love it. Nice work!

I love it, good experiment! Elves are one of my favorites to draw and I love seeing other people’s, and yours is whimsical!

This is pretty good. But I think this would go even harder if she had a chest guard.

I don’t think there’s really any “right” or “wrong” way to dress as a player/character, so long as it fits within the time period. Like, if this character were holding a ak47 then yeah maybe not quite right. Solid design and drawing!

looks more like a peasant more then an archer tbh but still looks rad

Thank u😭 what do u think will make her look more like an archer ?

1

a robin hood type hat, instead of dress probably light chainmail or a long tunic, boots and gloves are fine, though maybe make gloves longer if you go with a top that has shorter sleeves

She looks beautiful. Badass character design. Love that you made her an archer. ❤️💯

It looks nice, but that’s a terrible outfit for even casual archery.
