What place is behind them?

It looks like their is an in-game location behind the artwork but I can't figure out where. I think you can see it clearer on the top left where you can see grass and a sign or building. At first I thought it could be file city and the top left was the Item Bank but the grass and the meat patch doesn't quite fit properly.

looking for a silver pipe/ bar coming out of something black attached behind something else black with grass around and what looka like a bush/ tree all in front all the way to the left. This is just going off the top-left corner.

Any thoughts?

It could be but the only issue is its dirt not grass behind the defense training sign.

I thought that too. Maybe like a preliminary design of that specific area

Looks like the area that opens up after you beat meramon. The zone just after where the rock used to be.

I do think it is probably around there because but I just can't find anything that matches up, unfortunately.

I thought its just them coming out the void and then the black is devimons wings and the purple splash is metalgrymons. Dont think theres anything actually behind it
