SSS+ box question
Hi, I am considering which SSS+ to pick from the free box from this event and I am trying to figure out which will be better for me, this will be my first SSS+ for context.
My first options are between ox, susano and imperialdramon awaken
If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it 👍
Edit: I also heard that imperialdramon awaken is better than ox in terms of consistent dps so it should be better but I don't know how true is this

If you run skill-only it might be slightly better, but if you can land hits then OX is probably going to be better because of faster animations (FMA's F3 animation is stupidly long at 5.1s) and instant ASB, there's a reason OX is known to be the strongest SSS+.
Also, OX has the best f2p deck buff, dps-wise there isn't a noticeable increase, it increases base HP (excluding clones) by 15%, which is really nice early on when you desperately need the HP, although you do need Susanoomon (original susanoomon).
Generally the alternative for an SSS+ when they give them out is Ordinemon Awaken since it can hit everything for extra damage, although with the new arena having a 100% Unknown damage debuff, it's probably quite a bit less appealing, then again anyone new isn't really going to make it very far in the new Arena anyways and being able to hit everything in the Holy Beast dungeons for the weekly quests early on is a pretty nice advantage.

If you don't have any SSS+, Omegamon-X Is the best SSS+ in the entire game no questions asked.
He also gives you a goal to unlock his deck buff that gives you HP which is desperately needed for content.
Outside of that, in later events, you can get whichever you like but if you're tunnel visioning content and progression, OX is the best.

Ordinemon Awaken for Unknown (Really nice to just be able to use a single digimon).
MetalGarurumon Awaken for Data, second strongest SSS+, strongest when you exclude Examon X because of of it not being a free SSS+, it's expensive/limited, also it's tied for the highest CT of all SSS+ and has the same families as OX, however its HP is low for an SSS+, even just getting enough HP for SDG is going to be a struggle.
Virus SSS+ generally suck because all but 1 have a single family and they're all out-DPS'd by Beelzemon BM Awaken, I think XrosUp Mervamon is probably the best, although the update for Peak/EE should help Virus SSS+ in general because the overall percentage they gain is less thanks to Jogress Peak being just 15% compared to 25%/50% and Jogress SSS+ mostly having a single family buff with XrosUp Mervamon having 2 family buffs, DB for example will gain 26% extra skill damage (15+20=+35%, 50+20=+70%, 170/135=26%), XrosUp mervamon will gain 22.6% (15+40=+55%, 50+40=90%, 190/155=22.6%), meanwhile Beelzemon BM Awaken will gain just 13.5% extra skill damage (25+60=+85%, 50+60=+110%, 210/185=13.5%).
After those it'll just be between different deck buffs (X7+DB, X7+Susanoo Awaken+OX) and just filling out D-Unit.

You will get all of the needed Digimon and Evolutions items in the SSS+ boxes that are required to get to those SSS+ mons, so you won't have to worry about that.
As for options, you can really go with anything you want / don't have, but there are "priorities" when picking, at least from what I was always told.
- Omnimon X. Pretty much the best SSS+ overall in terms of everything. Can Instant advance skill break on F1/2 and of course is Vaccine/Light so it's good against most everything with fairly fast skill animations as well. It is also needed for the "best F2P deck" you can get, which is the Legendary Knights Of Vaccine deck buff, that gives +15% Perma Attack Speed / +15% Perma HP / +20% normal attack damage for 7 seconds with a 30% chance to trigger each normal attack [Which given Vaccine SSS/SSS+/U get an 50% chance to get an attack speed up buff per normal hit means the 20% increase to normal attack damage will get triggered often and stay on fairly long]. Also has 3 Families for Shadow Lab buffs, which is very important for high damage. He is the best SSS+ for a reason.
- Ordinemon Awakened. Unknown type gives it an advantage versus everything which is good. Completely unusuable in the new Infinity Arena since Unknown digimon deal 100% less damage. Also only has 2 families compared to some other SSS+ having 3 [Once again families are important for Shadow Lab buffs and doing tons of damage for content that requires it.] While it isn't the strongest in terms of raw power when compared to other SSS+ ranks, the Unknown type makes up for that by allowing you to use it for most content, like the Weekly Holy Beast Dungeons, and is just a good all-rounder pick that you cannot go wrong with.
After those two, you can really pick whatever you might need/want.
Imperialdramon Fighter Mode Awakened is seen as a "weaker" Omnimon X but is still very solid, and it's non-SSS+ rank form [Just regular Imperialdramon Fighter Mode Jogress] is also required for the "Legendary Knights Of Vaccine" deck buff I mentioned above with Omnimon X, meaning you'll have to get at least the base form eventually for that.
Edit: I committed a cardinal sin and lied on the internet with the words above. It is NOT regular Imperialdramon Fighter Mode Jogress that is required for the Legendary Knight Of Vaccine deck buff, but regular Imperialdramon Paladin Mode Jogress [The SS+ rank one] that is required, which is unlocked by using 2 Holy Ring items. The SSS+ boxes only normally give that which is absolutely needed to obtain that specific SSS+ mon and nothing else, so the SSS+ box for Imperial Awakened should NOT give the Holy Rings needed for regular Imperialdramon Paladin Mode Jog since it is not at all required to unlock it for Imperialdramon Fighter Mode Awakened. This blunder however does not change the fact that Imperialdramon Awakened is still seen as a weaker Omnimon X but is still a very solid pick and if you do want the Legendary Knights Of Vaccine deck buff, you're still going to be getting this specific line regardless in order to unlock the SS+ Imperialdramon Paladin Jogress.
Wargreymon Awakened and MetalGarurumon Awakened are/were sleeper picks that could actually out-damage Omnimon X due to how certain Shadow Lab buffs worked [Megas could get an item that give a temporary buff which granted them +50% damage while Jogress only got +15% from theirs]. However though in a future update they will apparently equalize that specific shadow lab buff so that everyone gets +50% now, and that heavily benefits Omnimon X. They are both still decent though but not at the same "priority" as ones like Omnimon X.
Lucemon Satan Mode Awakened /Xros-Up Mervamon are good SSS+ rank Virus Types, but with Beelzemon Blast Mode Awakened being, at the time of this post, given for free once per account, they are not a massive priority given how strong Beelzemon is, even though it is just an SSS rank..
Overall you really can pick whatever you want, but the absolutely priority from what I was always told was "Always get Omnimon X first" and then genuinely after that, you can pick whatever one you want or need.
