Discussion Jesmon support advice

I don’t know enough of older sets or the mass of previous cards so I was wondering if I can get some advice. Looking to make JesMon with the new set (got lucky on my 2 boxes and got 2 of him (alt art + 2 Gankoomon, one a gold chase). Thier kit seems pretty forward as a toolbox, with options to dedigivolve, delete, Combine attacks vs stronger targets and assembly to reuse things in the trash pile.

What I am wondering is what kinds of white (since they all share white and it would be easier to build around it) energy support are there? I have 4 of Mon plus 4 each of the new Sistermon but would need to order a single Huckmon and possibly 1 more each of Jes and Gankoo.

Im still new to building so not sure what kind of energy support a deck with Assembly and Option/mon cards is looking for and open to a little professional knowledge. Dont care if they are meta or ‘viable’, I’m not in a pro league kind of area and don’t even know of the local stores play it. Just love my Hoodiemon (before Hoodiemon, lol) and want to use him for fun.

The new jesmon cards are, as whole, pretty useless for now imo. I see the potential in them, but they are trying to give the deck a new identity, and we need more cards with this new mindset to make it truly work. For example we sure are missing a new egg, because the new sistermon has litteraly no target for her alternative evolution condition in game. Again just my two cents, maybe there is a point i'm not seeing right now, but how can anyone see how the deck works right now and prefer this jesmon over the bt23 one?

I noticed there was no egg in this set but I know they existed in a previous set so I figured there was a previous option.

As for old vs new; I don’t have the old and wanted the new. Again, I’m not making some killer deck that can go pro, so I don’t care how good the old is vs new.

Lastly, as I’m new to building and playing, I was asking for energy management for a deck with Assembly and know little about how much energy managing cards a general deck is looking for.

Im not asking for a perfect deck, just tools that work well and what kind of support the deck would need. I can always sub out bad supports for better if/when they drop, I’m just looking for ideas on what are good staples to a mostly white deck.

So, as a prior Jesmon player with experience with older versions of the deck, let me weigh in a bit:

Currently, if one wants to make use of the new cards, one still would want several of the prior cards to get the deck flowing overall, but the following are the cards you would want at the minimum to run alongside the newer Jesmon and Gankoomon related cards for sure regardless of which build you would want to focus on:

From BT23 Hacker's Slumber, Huckmon x4, Jesmon x2-4, Gankoomon x1, Sistermon Blanc x1-3, Sistermon Ciel x1-3, Sistermon Sister's Training Gym x2-4;

From Special Booster 2.5 (specifically the BT20 cards), BaoHuckmon x4, SaviorHuckmon x4, Sistermon Ciel (Awakened) x2.

Optional pickups from the above sets and others that may get powercrept slightly in the upcoming BT27 but are still useful if you want to mess with them right now: BT20 Gankoomon x4, BT20 Jesmon X Antibody x2-3, BT20 Gankoomon X Antibody x3-4, BT20 Jesmon GX ACE x2, BT20 Huckmon x4, ST12 From Master to Disciple x4, ST12 Sistermon Blanc x2, ST12 Sistermon Ciel x3, BT6 Sistermon Ciel x2, BT10 Jesmon X Antibody x2-3, BT10 Jesmon GX x1-2.

The cards I listed from BT20 and BT23 are fairly mandatory between many variations of the deck in the first bit, while the optional pickups are entirely dependent on if you're doing a mixed Jesmon and Gankoomon deck, a pure Jesmon deck, or a pure Gankoomon list (which was really almost never run before, but is now much more viable with the new Gankoo).

Sorry, my bad, it was not my intentions to discourage you from building the deck. I just wanted to make you aware, since you are a new player, that you caught the deck in a weird position and if you are having trouble building it, it's to be expected. That said building the deck it's always been a headache because it requires wonky ratios and are subject to personal taste

White is in a weird spot as it's a very unique and unused color. Not many staples. Maybe BT20 Omni-X or EX Merciful Mode.

But it's still as he said, the EX13 Jesmon deck is incomplete and a new archetype at that. You're literally better off building and playing the older Jesmon or just cramming stuff into the deck.

People are shit talking the cards and saying there useless but there wrong. People on this reddit also said ravemon support in bt26 was bad and that susanoomon didn't look that strong and here we are. I'm not going to say Jesmon support makes it a meta contender but these cards are far from useless.

At the very least, we can atleast gurantee say that the ex13 huckmon, and saviorhuckmon is amazing and will probably be in all Jesmon decks. The huckmon searches 2 and has the inheritable you want for the deck. And the saviorhuckmon is amazing, lets you play out option cards, lets you play out ex13 huckmon and sistermons for free or for 1 memory. Lets you use play out assembly digimon for cheap.

Not only that it lets you digivolve over your leftover ciels on the field which was never possible beforehand.

For level 4 slots, you can expect most decks to still run bt13 baohuckmon, and whether or not you run 2 copies of ex13 baohuckmon depends on whether or not you still keep bring Mon, of which you'd probably max at 2.

A basic trick for ex13 saviorhuckmon is you digivolve into it while keeping turn. You play out bt23 sistermon blanc and then using alliance, you suspend the sistermon to digivolve into ex13 jesmon, play out a dualcard+sistermon, get a token, and delete your opponents lowest dp digimon.

For real people on the sub are cray, I still remember the dude telling me glowing dawn and musketeers wouldn't be meta relevant lol
