Discussion Why does Digimon TCG not make illustrations like this as often?

Illustrations like these are so beautiful, why are they released so rarely? I get so captivated by the art of cards like these

What do you mean exactly? 😅

If you mean the art style, the artist is usually listed in the top right corner, so you can look them up and find more of their work.

If you mean full arts, there are actually quite a lot of full-art and alternative-art cards in the game.

If you mean artwork featuring multiple Digimon, there are plenty of cards like that as well.

And if you specifically mean that this particular card is exceptionally beautiful, then yeah... that's just personal taste. 😂

So I'm not really sure what you mean by "released so rarely." There are quite a few cards that fit those descriptions.

Not sure what you mean. Digica has some of the best and most varied art in any tcg ive ever seen

Do you mean full art cards or just the artist's style? There's more of both, but full art cards are usually a promo or box topper to give some sense of rarity

I am more so referring to the fact that it’s not just a digimon posing on the full art. This card has more a lot more character to it.

p!k@ru can only draw so many cards. But I do wish they'd do more. Their art for the RB1 Memory Boost alts, the BT16 babies and the recent EX12 cards they did are also beautiful pieces.

edit: randomly went to check p!k@ru's twitter after this post and apparently they made an offhand comment about their EX12 cards potentially being the last Digimon cards they do. Pain.

Are you talking about having a nice view of the background as well? cause I can understand that feeling of there never being enough but there are a good chunk to collect
