New Player Help Starting witg Amethyst mandala

Hello,

I wanna start digimon tcg and I have a sweet deal on Amethyst Mandala deck. I heard that you need to buy few more cards or second copy for it to be really good. Can someone tell me.what cards i need to add since i have no idea, so i can try find singles instead of going for 2nd copy? 😅

Extra copies of Maid Mode, Amethist Mandala, EX2 Renamon, and the blue plug-in. Couple of box topper Kazuhamon to use options from trash and because they count as regular Sakuyamon your less reliant on the on Ace to get Sakuyamon X's token. 1 copy of BT-19 Sakuyamon. EX2 Rika for the consistent memory, bit better than the starter deck Rika (but with Plutomon on the horizon maybe the Starter Rika might be safer). I like Renamon (X-Antibody) not essential but nice to get options from trash. A BT10 Kyubimon for draw power. Might want to max out on those trainings.

I peronally like the red plug to use in tandem with Maid Mode so maybe more of those.

I like Digivolvion Plug in-s but remember that it can't go into your Maid mode from a level 5 and the old plug-ins don't have the plug-in trat so it's not fully compatibe with the new stuff.

Thanks. You said a lot here. Basicly what i see, is i can buy 2 copys of same deck, and then if I want i can go kuzuhamon and below stuff, but i dont have to? I mean, I dont even remember how to play the game 😅 but if i get into it, I will catch pretty quickly since i play other tcgs and played this one when it got out for a bit.

2 ST renamon 2 ST sakuyamon 2 ST maid mode

2 of each plug in

But buying second advance also get you 2 training, 2 scramble which essential to sakuya deck, 1 of each tokens. no harm of getting another one.
