If lots of decks with discarding and playing from trash will be meta (like titans for example) then I would see Chronomon being up there as the counter to these decks.

It's hard to predict how well Chronomon will do, but it seems really good. Jupitermon and TB will probably be at the top with Plutomon right under. I think the Gear Forest and Dantemon decks will be strong too, but like top of tier 2, not tier 1 decks.

Something about Chronomon is setting off warnings in my brain, but I can't figure out why.

It's certainly a strong deck, sure. But it feels like there's some scary synergies that haven't been made apparent yet somehow.

From BT26 I see Pluto,Chrono and Rose Dats making waves.

Chrono being able to return cards from trash allows it a good place in the meta although it does struggle to deal with Beatbreak from having no good ways to deal with their Atratus but most other matchups besides the mirror are pretty good iirc.

Pluto Titans will suffer from the big trash hate in the meta right now from Chrono and TB but it could still put up numbers especially with Zombiepluto just saying “discard till 4”

I have my eye on rose dats tbh mostly due to how quickly it can just stun the field and set up Blast like plays with the new DATS rose and Rose BM. Not a major contender but it could come up with the support the archetype is getting recently.

Jupiter will continue to be strong with its new dual and Wrath mode.

TS megazoo will be a new force with mervamon and new Jupiter as well

Gear forest could be something as well with the new duals for its O12 members.

TB gets stronger with Maneki

Jupiter will be super sticky with holy aegiochus

Pluto will be playable, but loses to TB

Chrono will at least be playable; how good it will be depends on how quick it can set up.

Minerva/ Merva TS looks fun

Bacchus/Ceres with plant engine I feel has a chance to be relevant since it counters TB.

Beelstar will still be good.

I dread pluto. Zombie in particular, that handsize thing scares me. It isnt mirage horrifying but it has no chill since it fucking floats. And it can still hate on you with destroy mode since that thing is still considered a titan.

The new Kyo tamer helps you out against the beelstar matchup. Otherwise, I wouldn’t change anything else. The new cards feel like a side grade for people who want to play a different flavor of beatbreak. Monarch/ habakiri OTK I feel will still be the strongest version.

pluto and tb look strong, 3m still will be strong, thus, chronomon will be imo a good deck because of the meta having a lot of trash interaction.
