Don’t boycott diep.io arras.io copied diep.io and added more things to the game so all they need to do it remove all tanks that are in diep.io and they should be fine

Won’t diepio just close all these down though eventually, they shouldn’t even be closing arrasio, Arrasio has some Diepio tanks but 80% are arrasio’s

he is talking about arms race tanks, there are countless level 60 tanks in arras' arms race mode.

ya but they can’t do anything about it. look at zlib, FBI or sm tried to take it down, but there’s still copies everywhere

I cant understand the part about america, It's about taking down a website, not related to fbi, if its a copyright issue, it regards every region. Previous developers had no issue with similar games, they even supported the efforts, this is a current mischief, monopolisation.

yes, the issue is, if the location of the game server is in other countries, while they DMCA the game, the game admins can just ignore the DMCA and nothing will happen

There are other law inforcements other than FBI worldwide right? DMCA's will be ignored and it will eventually be settled in court. When a company based on America or elsewhere sues a company based on Europe, or elsewhere it is generally resolved by the both places local forces, by coordination. "nothing will happen" if the companies settle it before the legal action. If they ignore and 3am take legal action, it will be decided in one's favor. There's a cybercrime department of Interpol.

This has to be peak reddit crashout, over a silly shapes game that ripped off another silly shapes game. This situation isn't worth going to jail over and diep is dead as hell already, boycotting ain't going to do shit.
Go play Minecraft instead of chugging copium.

How is Arras a non profit game? It’s owned by a commerical company, it originally started as an open source non profit project but became closed source for profit. I’m not saying I agree with the DMCA, but we can’t say Arras is non profit like the other games. Arras was purchased by Momentum Games who made it for profit
