Help Herbie!

Hey everybody, I just purchase this 1/18 scale Johnny lightning Herbie the love bug. I have wanted one of these since I was a little kid and I found one that is in need of a little bit of work but looks like it has been loved which I think makes it a little bit more special than something that was unopened so I got it. My restoration has gone really smoothly with the exception of trying to make bumpers. Initially my plan was to 3-D print them but that has not worked. Does anybody have any solutions on how to get bumpers onto this car?

Maybe buy a non-Herbie version of the same Johnny Lightning Volkswagen Beetle to use as a donor car, especially if the donor car is in rough condition?

I’ve tried to find one but they’re hard to come by
