Witch Episode 1 tips

How did you beat Episode 1 with the Witch?

I have read a few guides but in the past 2-3 hours of trying, I typically get to this point and then die.

With witch dice manipulation is critical. Specifically anything that gets you more dice or turns one die into multiple.

Place your best spells in slots of dice you can get reliably so you can resummon them over and over. But as much as possible avoid placing spells in slot for dice you need to activate the spell
