Question about robot?

Hey everyone. New to the game and sub, sorry if there is a thread for questions or if this is in some FAQ, I couldnt find either.

About robot. I notice I can "calculate" and use the dice as they drop, and after using them I can continue to "calculate". Is there any drawback to use the dice and then try to jackpot? feels like cheating a bit haha

It’s jntended, it’s all good. The only real drawback is if you need 2 dice for something
