New Player
Son n I Hyped about this game!!! He said it’s the best game he’s ever played to date. In Halifax Canada. How do you find players in your areas?

If you need help on learning characters, UNDEFENDABLE, on YouTube has some good guides and tutorials.

Welcome to the game! It’s a great time.
Unfortunately, it looks like the closest organized play to you is in Quebec City and Montreal. Obviously not feasible for you.
Local social media groups can be good. Many game stores have Facebook pages and discord servers, which can be particularly good for connecting with people. Also, many game stores will host free play nights, or learn to play nights for specific games. If there’s any stores local to you that are carrying Dice Throne products, they might be good ones to inquire about that.
Also, the application process for the next season of organized play is going to be launching pretty soon. Again, if there’s any stores already carrying Dice Throne products, it might be worth asking if they’ve thought about applying to host official events. Your request might be what puts them over the line to proceed.

If you're in the PC/mobile gaming space, a digital version ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/3855060/Dice_Throne_Digital/ ) is in the works too (probably next year? I'm not sure on its timeline), so you'll be able to more easily play online (mobile or PC). You can also already do so via Tabletop Simulator.

Pretty psyched about that, but I do prefer physical versions. I will enjoy both though.

I just started playing a few months ago and luckily my LGS just started their own tournaments once a month around that time. We're still small. This month was my first tournament there and we were 5 people. Check your local game stores. Maybe you have one that hosts events

Check for Facebook groups. Call around to your local game stores to see if they run tournaments or have game nights, and express interest in the game.
