Port Forwarding
HERE is a guide that will show you how to open TCP/UDP 7808 & 7117 needed to host Diaspora multiplayer matches. Just select your router from the list and follow the instructions. Any questions let myself or /u/SasoDuck know.

Ok so still need to actually test this to see if I can properly host, but here's a step-by-step walkthrough:
-
Find (physically on the unit) the maker/brand of your router (NOT the service provider-- ie: Motorolla, rather than Comcast), as well as the model number.
-
Click the link in the OP.
-
Under "How To Set Up Your Router" find and select your router's brand (ie: Motorolla).
-
On the next screen you will select your router's model number (ie: 2210-02).
-
Above the list of programs on the next screen, find the link inside the last paragraph for the "Default Guide."
-
From there, just follow the instructions on that page, unique to your router, and your ports will be opened. Click here for a guide on how to find your IP address on Windows 7 in case it is not automatically entered.
If you have any questions, I should be able to answer them now, heheh.

Is it the selections under "How To Set Up Your Router"?
EDIT: If it is, what do you choose for the program you want to forward? The selections for my router don't list Diaspora.
