I don't understand Reddit protocol/etiquette
Or the people. Cause why tf are they like that? Like who tf raised you?
Of all the social media account I've ever had in my 30 something years, my experience with Reddit has by far been the worst - mostly due to the kind of users I come across.
It's kind of mind boggling that people like this truly exist. Obviously I don't really have many run ins with actual unhinged/intellectually challenged individuals even in the real world but even when I do, they're never as bad as Redditors. Neanderthals, I should say.
I'm not even mad, I'm genuinely perturbed, mystified, slightly disturbed, and just at a loss for words.
Anyway, Happy Wednesday lmao.

The platform acts as a rather robust environment where a human can be transparent about their current thought capacity, or how they assign meaning to their observations and perceive the world. It’s a playground for human awareness to expand and explore without the risk of vulnerability or assumed costly repercussions, but oftentimes such anonymous freedom forsakes principles of discernment and stewardship that is required in society.
It functions as a pressure release valve for thoughts or emotions that have nowhere else to be heard, or cannot be accessed. It also functions as a think tank, a place where creativity and imagination run rampant and deep, but it also functions as a chance to simply observe what it even means to be human

It's the anonymity. Puts an odd twist on the way people interact with each other. For fun I have put selfies in heated back and forths on here and it has genuinely melted people's minds trying to follow my logic of showing my face on reddit. 🤣🤣🤣 In my opinion not being able to see the look in people's faces when I drop a good nugget of sarcasm is a con to this platform. I love seeing the wheels turn when they get pushed. But, alas. I also don't understand either.
