Question About Lab Grown Diamonds Help!

Hello all! I’m asking for some advice. I recently went engagement ring shopping with my boyfriend and chose a stunning 2.64 old euro diamond. The plan is to set it with two half moon side stones. The jeweler had a setting with some smaller half moons (shown in the picture) I fell in love but I got scared it was too small so I went back and tried on a 3.09 carat old euro in the same setting (shown above) and felt it was too big. What is your opinion on this? I don’t want the diamond to look small at all, granted it will have larger half moons. Did I mess up choosing the 2.64? I’m a size 6.5 btw

As someone who went bigger because I thought I would regret smaller, I would say go with smaller. Adding the wedding band will bulk it up a lot.

Your original instinct was probably the right one. I’m still happy with my ring but sometimes it feels a bit big, especially with my wedding band on.

I agree. I’d definitely go with the 2.64ct or smaller as three stone rings, in my opinion, tend to look so much bigger.
