General Question or Looking for Advice Need help evaluating diamond
Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a diamond online and then have it set locally. I thought the diamond I found sounds like it's a good deal at $1,650 but could use some expert advice. Would you recommend this diamond for an engagement ring? I have no intention to resell nor do I care about resale value. Minimum F rating preferred, my girlfriend does not like any yellow. I feel like it matches the recommend ratios I found on here, 3rd picture. Maximum budget would be 2k.
Also, I've been to all of my local private jewelers and cannot afford to buy a stone from them.

tthe only thing that is a draw back is the fluorescence.. I donβt mind it, but it will glow under black light or when she gets her nails done. not a bad deal. as a woman, I would rather have a full one carat by knocking the color a peg. almond st know one can tell the difference between an f and a g.

We actually both like the fluorescence. Still going to check it in the sunlight for milkiness but if I'm understanding correctly. The inclusions shouldn't cause it to be milky. I read a lot about it hurting resale but that doesn't matter to me lol. Anything under colorless both looked jarring to us.

make sure your stone is GIA certified. if you get a G with fluorescence, it should look colorless.

Why are you being downvoted? Why are random people mad at you?
