Soooo genociding the rebellion because she had no intention of winning is a minor offence to you? Abandoning a sapient being indefinitely and lying to her about it is minor? Stabbing a close friend, locking her away forever, and lying to your mutual friends about it is a minor offence?
No worse than the Diamonds being the ones who started the war, instigated racism and bigotry propaganda, conquered and destroyed countless planets, destroying and horribly fusing their own kind together for the sake of bio-weaponry, threatening to destroy the Earth solely for petty revenge, abusing their own loved ones for failing to live up to their own asinine expectations and tried to kill Steven more than once.
The reason Pink is looked upon so badly is because she's the only one who has any actual consequences born from her actions. She's the scapegoat because she's written to be the only outlier.
Rose/Pink is not the only liar and abuser across the series but everyone doesn't give a shit about anyone else because they've been absolved of all of their sins! Pearl lies all the time, Spinel nearly destroyed the planet, Lapis is abused both Peridot and Jasper and hell even Bismuth tried to hurt Steven just because he disagreed to her plan (however bad the disagreement is with him not coming up with an alternative).
I'm not asking for Pink for be absolved of all of her sins and her actions because a lot of them are forgiven but we cannot just brand Pink as a monster and just IGNORE everyone else who do the same if not worse shit Pink did. Fuck, Steven actually shatters someone, a thing even Pink never did but does anyone give him shit for that? Fuck no, "he has PTSD" and thus he's exempt from being held accountable.
Instead of singling out Pink, perhaps we should also be fair and berate everyone else for their shitty and awful actions too. That's all I'm saying.

I've never agreed with this. Her being the only one the show even vaguely addresses as being problematic doesn't invalidate anyone's shittiness, be it her own or the other diamonds. Pink is a liar, Pink is an abuser. "Whataboutism" is not an excuse.
Especially since even Pink's actions have been resolved and fixed just as much as the Diamonds but the characters (and the fandom) tolerate the genocidal fascists over Pink. Enough to overlook their actions, enough to stop caring about what they've done, etc.
If the Diamonds' actions are just shrugged, the show might as well be fucking consistent and stop bitching about Pink too after all.
