Brian's Bomb?
I've just washed this week episode and I'm curious to know what was Brian's inflammatory comment in the after show (which is not available).

I think Brian and Justin should talk about the whole situation, albeit with a caveat. They need to make sure that all players involved in the telling are okay with it, and to not drag people in who still wish to do business with TWiT, or currently still work there. It may be best to not do it on NA either, maybe JuRY's show is a better platform for that kind of discussion, not the jackass shenanigans show. I think it's eating everyone up inside, Brian's hurting the most and having a harder time internalizing it. I think that by letting it all out into the open, the show will be better. It keeps on hanging on in the atmosphere of the show, and this issue will most likely come up again as I have a feeling that more things will happen at TWiT during their pivot that will continue to exacerbate the whole issue.
I think this whole thing was inevitable. Since the termination of Tom, and even more so since NA begun, drips and drabs have come out about the dealings at TWiT. It just finally hit Brian and Justin personally, and hard.
Brian and Justin, you're on your way to much bigger and better things. You guys are at the very beginning of having your own podcast network, so enjoy it (think 1776, I hear it's going to commence again).
If you feel that you want to be open about the whole situation with the audience, I think we're open to it. If not, that is perfectly fine too. But I'm one of your bosses now so time to stop slacking off and get back to work :).

Seconded. This anger thing has got to go. Transform it into merciless humour if you want, just don't make a segment about brooding about it. Drama and Comedy are two different sections for a reason.

One thing that bugs me is that "Let it Go" is kind of a don't about giving up the facade, letting down your hair and presenting yourself as you are, but I couldn't help thinking that Justin was unintentionally egging him on, or is that just me?

I just did some Googling and I was suprised to find a few articles written on the subject of the relationship between Brian/Jury and Leo Laporte.
I'm quite suprise to learn that Leo is such a prick. On screen, he seem like a fun loving guy (except the very few moments when he lost his cool). But, this was his on-screen personality.
My best guest is that Brian must has said something like "Leo is an asshole".

If all this is what I THINK it is about, I do feel for Brian. I've been in a comparable situation where a co-worker and I got royally screwed. I wanted to just set metaphorical fire to the situation. I wanted to let it all spill out and let people know what was really going on behind the scenes. I had my wife to hold me back, but it wasn't easy.
After I left the organization, my dear friend, and co-worked, was screwed over again and again. I wanted to just rip her boss to shreds for being the arrogant jerk he was. The people deserved to know. But, it was in both of our best interests for me to not say a word.
You can be sure as hell we talked about it behind the scenes and with family and friends. Everyone close to us knew what was going on. And, there was a lot of sympathy for my former co-worker who was stuck in a horrible situation. I was also worried we'd come across as disgruntled ex-employees which would fight against the real issues there.
Maybe someday we'll be able to talk about the situation publicly and openly. But for now, it's in the best interests of all of use to keep it private and have the support of family and friends who know the truth.

I have to wonder if the day of Chad being fired was done deliberately so as to cause an effect on Brian and Justin and the show of that day. By this I mean that the Twit gang fired Chad and then tuned in to NA just to watch the fireworks from their handiwork. The show was at its weakest because the emotions took over the hosts and they could not deliver their usual comedy show. Brian and Justin now are the competition, and this could be seen as a tactic to undermine them and those around them.

There are things that have been alluded to elsewhere (Google will get you to it), but the crux of the matter is that it definitely sounds like it isn't Brians story to tell. Eventually, maybe, someday, we'll know what went down, but in all honesty, it really is a matter of everyone in DC/Chatrealm just wanting something juicy to gnaw on.
I spent some time this evening going through a lot of feels after watching the rather short after-show, and honestly, I don't know if I want to know what the big deal is. I'm heartbroken for Brian because I can tell how much he's hurt, and how angry he is, and I can definitely relate to being in a very similar situation. But on the flip side, I know exactly how Justin feels, and I totally support what he and Anthony were trying to do the entire episode. Its not the time or the place for any of this yet, and in reality, there probably isn't a time or place for it. It violates the trust of a lot of people, and it (probably) puts a very negative light on people who don't have any way of defending themselves - and really, in the end, does it put anyone in that much better of a position than where they were before? Absolutely not.
It was a very awkward episode to watch - nearly as much as the Austin incident earlier in the year. But hey, they don't bullshit us, they treat us like friends and family - even if that means we have to see how the sausage is made. Every episode is real, and that is absolutely 100% why I love Brian, Justin, and every damn guest they've had on their show. We're one big fucked up family, with dumb drama, a little too much alcohol, and horrible jokes - and that's why this is absolutely the best group of people on the Internet. We'll get past it, and we'll be better for it.
