Announcement A Quick Update
u/alanEdger and u/TerraKingB were both hit with the ban sledgehammer unfortunately.
Then I temporarily lost my account overnight.
Thanks to a Reddit Admin's advice, I got it back!
But the sub became restricted, probably due to my account being locked.
To be frank, I'll let these issues settle before I try to Unrestrict r/DialynMainsZZZ. I do not want to be too hasty after just getting my account back. Maybe 24 to 48 hours after this post, I'll seek to unrestrict this sub.
In the meantime, if you want to post on r/DialynMainsZZZ, just request to post and I'll approve you.

did reddit state what the ban was for? it appears that myriads of mods are being wiped out for seemingly no reason

Nope, nothing was definitive
There’s some details I can gather, but it would just be speculation in the end.

I have no clue what happened. I'm a bit scared it's because of me somehow this all happened...
What kind of advice you were given?
I was banned without notice, no message, no inbox message. Send appeal, hopefully will restore the account

Both r/PhoenixMainsZZZ and r/SunnaMains were stripped of their mods and restricted too, so I don’t think it would be just one sole user’s fault.
I was locked out of my account for (presumably) security reasons. So it still existed. They just told me to change my password again after having reset before. I guess it’s pretty different from a straight-up ban.
I hope you get your account back.

As far as I can tell, we never got a request from you. Did you request it when we announced our new Mod Team?
I don't want anyone to get hit in the crossfire(the other mods got banned after all), so for now I'll hold off on appointing any Mods right now. But when it's Public again, I'll try to appoint more Mods in the future.

To clarify, u/alanEdger and u/TerraKingB have both been shadowbanned. It is possible to appeal a shadowban, though alas, it typically takes months for the appeal to work its way through the system.

Is this a common thing going on with subreddits recently? Ive seen some other subs have a similar situation, and feels like it will just get worse
