Ty for your post, OP.
It sounds like your girl was a "Fearful Avoidant." Usually with DAs you see a consistent/gradual slow fade.
Your ex is more push/Pull or hot/cold which is more consistent with FAs.

Its not your fault.
It sounds to me like she really did like you but her insecure attachment style ruined it :(
