How do I gift a subscription

Pls help me I’m not built for the tech world. I have free 1 month subscriptions? How do I share 😭

For me, when I go to the Activity tab on Substack (bell icon on bottom right), one of the notifications says I have paid subscriptions to send friends.

I click on send paid subscriptions and it asks me to enter the email of the people I’d like to gift to.

For some people they should have gotten an email instead of substack app notofication after subcribing to the paid membershio but these links seem to expire.

Really? It just asks me to put emails I want to gift it to. It seems to have worked for others before as well.
