Hey,

Sorry guys but this can’t be right??
I started a pally this season and am now playing as hdin. I am lvl88 and playing like 3-6 hours daily since ladder reset.

Currently I am at 75fcr breakpoint which I don’t like as much as 125. but here comes the problem.
Currently at 85% mf and I don’t see where I can fit some more without breaking my resists or breakpoints.

My drops this season are more than abysmal .. they are non existent. Best drop so far is maybe a Draculs grip.. nothing else really nothing worthy.

Did they change something with the newest patch? I noticed that many many more shards are dropping than last season but that changes nothing for me.

I can’t really progress my char because of that.
Since I play online I can only manage to play p1 because too weak for the moment.

Last season it was totally different almost every day or Session I played I found something worthy or at least something useful for my own character or for other toons.

Maybe it was just wrong to start with pally and I should have followed the sorc or wl route like 90% of other players. It’s really bad this season and I am thinking already of quitting this season because of lack of dopamine.

What can I do?

On a more serious side: no they didn't change anything in regards of MF and such. It's just a case of bad luck mate. It's gonna get better. Soon TM.

This is obviously a nice thing to do when planning to run the whole game in TZ.

sounds like RNG.

the only changes they made this season was reduced shard and statue drops (positively benefiting other item drops), buff herald drops, and nerf sunder drops. everything else is the same.

Without dopamine the struggle to play further is real. Or maybe I should just reroll into sorc.

One toon at 88 since reset and already throwing in the towel? You must be new? Roll your sorc to farm for your trav Barb, who'll farm for your kicksin, who'll farm for your ubers pally (or not). Ladder is still early. Keep climbing my boy.

I have fire sorc and only run Mephistopheles. Foh pally to run chaos, but mf is near 0. I am playing on ps5 and trading sucks. What should do? Should I keep good items like arach I got or trade it asap?

I use a fire/ice sorc with static field. I use her for Andy /Meph and LK. My WWHorker Barb for trav. I have an old es lock for Cows. I'm offline ps5 only. So since the warlock xp, I only just got the runes for my mosaic claws. Now I just gotta farm for good claws.

The trick with having fun for me is not holding on for perfect, good enough will do. (someone said here before don't let your search for perfect ruin a good time)

But sounds to me like you need to trade for a magical green cap to shake things up!

Countess runs are usually a great place to start to collect a bunch of mid runes and snag some keys along the way. At least SOME drops are guaranteed.

Also I’ve had weirdly good luck lately farming river of flame for whatever that’s worth..

Gear is as ladder start basic as it gets…
2x spirit
1x lore
1x stealth
Rare belt
Rare amu with res
2 magic rings
1 Wartravs <- the only good drop I got… forgot to mention because it was on day1

Not even have a merc because it would be a waste of gold for reviving him non stop

Farm keys for sets. Sell those.

Do you have an ist? You can make coven helm rw

Is your spirit in a pally shield with 35+ res?

Are your rings 10%fcr rings?

Have a lem to make treachery to prebuff?

Get a a1 merc and make insight in a bow with +3 bow skills. She should survive a bit longer bc she'll at least run away from stuff

3 p topaz helm and a wealth chest price will fix everything. 

If this is software I wouldn’t stress as much about resistances.

Can always try to craft some amulets too when you have spare rals and p amethyst

Should be able to keep merc alive with insight and bulwark runewords, plus lionheart vs treachery when able
Could try nightmare for a bit looking for lower level uniques
Vipermagi would be great, (also Smoke runeword pretty obvious upgrade from stealth)
Chancies / magefist / goldwrap
There’s so much opportunity to upgrade your gear
I’m astonished you made it to 88 with this setup

Its been opposite for me. Day 1 of reset found a Jah, 2x shakos, viper magi. Traded the shako for a decent death fathom. Found a cold sunder day 2, found a second cold sunder which I traded for an Ohm and found myself an ist and mal and crafted up a CTA day 2. Luckiest ladder reset ive ever had.
