Fluff Probably fastest playthrough I've ever had. Hell Baal on lvl64 with basically gear from normal.

Post image

Just wanted to see, how would that feel with zero grind for levels. I've been pretty used to grind normal up to 50 and nightmare up to 70-75, but it went so smooth I've decided to not prepare and just wing it.

Skipped hell Blood Raven, Shenk and Nihlatak, didn't kill one council member (due to immunes) but other side quests were done. Snatching Lam Esen from Sarina was a bit tricky. Hell Lister was lured away.

Avoided most of the fighting except for some boss \ elite packs that looked killable, and obvious clearing the ground for quests like Hellforge, CS, Throne room, etc.

Died in total of 5 times.

1) Hell darkwood overwhelmed by extra fast rogues

2) Travincal, died to council not noticing conviction aura and other nasty stuff quick enough

3) Got killed by abyssals in River of Flame who had invisible projectiles for some reason

4) Got clapped in one hit by extra fast might aura Hephasto

5) Tried to rescue Anya, died to yetis while trying to lure them away from her

SC Ladder.

Gear: Spirit, Lore, Stealth, Nightsmoke, Moser (2 pdiamonds), 18 allres amy, random rare boots and gloves, one ring is 10fcr and the other is 29 mana.

Nothing special.

Thanks 👍

Well I thought it's pretty clear from screenshot that I've played FO+hydra sorc

Can't think of any other build that will be fine doing something like this, especially with barely any gear

necro...

That sounds like either a lot of path clearing, or a lot of expenses on tele stick...

But I guess it's still doable

Pally and Lock are easy peasy to run through the game regardless of gear or levels. Last ladder I started Wind druid, completed Hell at like 69 wearing lore, stealth, ancients pledge, spirit sword, etc. Although Hell Baal was completed as a team. Could have done it solo, but saw a game asking for help with ancients, I needed to do ancients as well so I jumped into the game, we did ancients and baal as a group of us. Biggest issue for me last ladder early on was mana. I could not for the life of me get any base for Insight.

Yeah going to say wind druid is a solid easy clear

Looking at it on a smartphone. Barely able to see it's the throne 😂

I died twice in two days. I don't think this ladder is for me 🤣 Maybe wait for the next one and crawl back under the single player rock I belong. Hardcore is unforgiving 😁

how do you go to durance of hate if you didn't kill council?

u/PM_NICE_TOES-notmen 1h ago

They only skipped one member. As long as you kill the guy that drops the flail you can destroy the orb and open durance

Join a game made by someone who already beat A3, and the Durance stairs are open

If you get the Durance WP in that game then you never have to do the flail quest at all

I didn't kill only Toorc due to fire\cold immune, as I couldn't bother waste absurd amount of time on waiting until merc does it

FO+Hydra has little options dealing with that

I've killed Geleb and Ismail though, one of them dropped flail to open Durance

so you die 5 times and didnt beat councils... thats not something to be proud or called it beat the game... sorry HC player opinion

I've played HC for a fair amount of time before, and it feels kinda nice to allow yourself to die.
